I would have given this product a “zero stars” rating if it were an option. This product is not a soft and flexible mat that would be like thick fabric over your seat. It’s a thick, stiff FOAM that makes it impossible for a car seat to be safely installed in a car. I should have remembered the Car Seat Installation class I took a few years ago, in that they said never, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, put anything between the car seat and the seat and NEVER use aftermarket products with your car seats because car seats are not crash tested with them. Needless to say, I promptly returned this product and feel that it should be taken off of the market. Some child is going to get horribly injured in a car accident because of this product…

I received the item in a very timely manner but it didn’t fit my car seat. I returne the item in the original box and haven’t received a refund. I feel that when ordering under the name of Amazon that it is imperative that honesty is a basic issue. While I appreciate Amazon having anything I want and love to order through them, I don’t want to worry about their business practices so that I can’t order from Amazon again. This is the first time since I started ordering things through
Amazon that someone didn’t return the money that was owed me. Sorry.

I purchased this with the Graco ComfortSport Convertible car seat. I have leather seats and could not get the seat secure enough even with the latch and seat belt in place @ the same time. Had to remove it. My husband has fabric seats and it was more secure on that. Overall, I like the product, but not useful on leather seats.

These function okay as a product, but made installation of the car seat very difficult since it was wider than my seats. I have 2 car seats and a booster on that row, so I had to overlap the two mats I purchased. On the positive side, it does stop the car seat from slipping once it is securly installed (correctly) but during installation I had a difficult time keeping the mat in place. It kept wanting to slip out of place with the car seat while I was trying to secure the belts and clips. It does work, though, for protecting the leather seats from creasing and possible ripping.
